Switch both helpers to gpiod_set_value_cansleep() so such a reset GPIO can
be used without triggering the warning.
The reset GPIO has been driven with the non-sleeping gpiod_set_value()
since the driver was added in v4.19. The call has since been refactored
across several files - from realtek-smi.c / realtek-mdio.c into the common
rtl83xx.c module and then into the rtl83xx_reset_assert() and
rtl83xx_reset_deassert() helpers (both in v6.9). This patch therefore
applies as-is only to kernels that carry those helpers (v6.9+); older
stable kernels need the same gpiod_set_value_cansleep() conversion at the
corresponding open-coded call sites.

Sashiko reports that we incorrectly disable isolation in the setup
loop while what we want to do is to enable it.
Enable it by unconditionally setting the enable bit 0 in
rtl8366rb_port_set_isolation() so a mask of 0 when passed in
will enable isolation and isolate from ALL ports.
Fix up the comments so it is clear what is going on, including a

In addition to SGMII, the RTL8367S SerDes also supports HSGMII, which
carries 2.5 Gbps with the same signaling as SGMII at 2.5x clock rate.
The chip info table already declares HSGMII as a supported interface
mode for external interface 1.
Extend the SerDes PCS to handle HSGMII, which phylink represents as
2500base-x:
- Select the HSGMII SerDes tuning parameters and external interface
mode, and mux the SerDes to MAC8 in HSGMII mode, from pcs_config()
according to the interface. The parameters are again lifted from the
GPL-licensed Realtek rtl8367c vendor driver, and again only cover
the tuning variant for a non-zero chip option, so the mode is gated
on the option probed at setup.
- Advertise 2500base-x and MAC_2500FD on ports whose external
interface supports HSGMII.
- Accept SPEED_2500 in the forced link configuration. The MAC speed
field has no 2.5 Gbps value: the rate is determined by the HSGMII
SerDes configuration, and the vendor driver programs the 1 Gbps
value here, so do the same.
- Raise the port 6 ingress and egress rate limiters to their maximum
at setup time, as the vendor switch init does unconditionally for
the whole chip family. The chip resets them to 0x1FFFF (~1.048 Gbps
in units of 8 Kbps), which caps the aggregate HSGMII throughput at
roughly 1 Gbps. The vendor documentation describes the reset
default as disabling the limiter, but the cap is real: on an
RTL8367S-based Mercusys MR85X running an OpenWrt backport of this
series, several clients on 1 Gbps user ports were limited to about
1.02 Gbps combined across the HSGMII CPU port until these limiters
were raised, after which throughput reached about 2 Gbps [1]. The
related HSGMII scheduler line rate (LINE_RATE_HSG_H) is already set
to its maximum by the common init jam table.
Tested on a Mercusys MR80X v2.20, where the RTL8367S is connected to
the SoC over HSGMII.

The RTL8367S can mux its embedded SerDes to external interface 1,
which is typically used to connect the switch to a CPU port. The chip
info table already declares SGMII as a supported interface mode for
this chip, but the driver only implements RGMII so far.
Implement SGMII support as a phylink PCS, with the configuration
sequence derived from the GPL-licensed Realtek rtl8367c vendor driver
as distributed in the Mercusys MR80X GPL code drop:
- Add accessors for the SerDes indirect access registers (SDS_INDACS),
through which the SerDes internal registers are reached.
- Register a phylink_pcs for the SerDes, selected from mac_select_pcs
for the SGMII interface, so the SerDes handling lives in the PCS
operations rather than in the MAC operations.
- Probe the SerDes tuning variant from the chip option register once
at setup. The vendor driver keeps two sets of SerDes tuning
parameters and selects between them based on this option; only the
variant for a non-zero option (which all RTL8367S parts seen so far
report) has been validated on hardware, so the SerDes interface
modes are only advertised in that case. An unsupported variant thus
fails at phylink validation time instead of at link configuration
time.
- Keep the embedded DW8051 microcontroller in reset and disabled. The
vendor driver loads firmware into it to manage the SerDes link, but
analysis of that firmware shows it only duplicates the link
management phylink already performs: it polls the port status and
writes the external interface force registers behind the driver's
back.
- Clear the line rate bypass bit for the external interface, tune the
SerDes with the vendor-prescribed parameters, mux the SerDes to MAC8
in SGMII mode and only then take the SerDes out of reset, as the
vendor driver does.
- After deasserting the SerDes reset, reset the SerDes data path via
the SerDes BMCR register to flush the FIFOs and resync the PLL.
This mirrors what the vendor firmware does right after deasserting
the SerDes reset, and ensures a clean link state from cold boot.
- Force the SGMII link parameters (link, speed, duplex) in the SDS_MISC
register from pcs_link_up(). SGMII in-band autonegotiation is not
implemented, so only fixed-link and conventional PHY setups are
supported, just like RGMII. This is reported to phylink through
pcs_inband_caps() returning LINK_INBAND_DISABLE, so phylink never
selects an in-band-enabled negotiation mode for this PCS.
- Program the SerDes pause enables in SDS_MISC from the resolved
pause modes when forcing the MAC external interface in mac_link_up,
as the vendor driver does, rather than leaving whatever state the
boot firmware left there. Flow control testing shows these bits,
not the MAC force pause bits, gate pause on the SerDes external
interface. This is done in the MAC layer because pcs_link_up()
carries no pause information.
- Implement pcs_get_state() by reading the link status from the
SerDes, with the forced speed and duplex read back from SDS_MISC.
Although the supported fixed-link and conventional PHY setups do not
use it, the PCS owns the SerDes link state, and phylink consults
pcs_get_state() to track the physical link when operating in in-band
mode with autonegotiation disabled. The SerDes has no link interrupt
wired up, so the PCS sets its poll flag.
Tested on a Mercusys MR80X v2.20, where the RTL8367S is connected to
the SoC over SGMII.

Implement hardware offloading of bridge functionality. This is achieved
by using the per-port isolation registers, which contain a forwarding
port mask. The switch will refuse to forward packets ingressed on a
given port to a port which is not in its forwarding mask.
For each bridge that is offloaded, use the DSA-provided bridge number
for the Extended Filtering ID (EFID). When using Independent VLAN
Learning (IVL), the forwarding database is keyed with the tuple
{VID, MAC, EFID}. There are 8 EFIDs available (0~7), but we reserve the
default EFID 0 for standalone ports where learning is disabled. This
fits nicely because DSA indexes the bridge number starting from 1.
Because of the limited number of EFIDs, we have to set the
max_num_bridges property of our switch to 7: we can't offload more than
that or we will fail to offer IVL as at least two bridges would end up
having to share an EFID.
All ports start isolated, forwarding exclusively to CPU ports, and
with VLAN transparent, ignoring VLAN membership. Once a member in a
bridge, the port isolation is expanded to include the bridge members.
When that bridge enables VLAN filtering, the VLAN transparent feature is
disabled, letting the switch filter based on VLAN setup.

Implement support for FDB and MDB management for the RTL8365MB series
switches.
The hardware supports IVL by keying the unicast forwarding database with
the {MAC, VID, EFID} tuple. The Extended Filtering ID (EFID) is 3 bits
wide, providing 8 unique filtering domains. This driver reserves EFID 0
for standalone ports, effectively limiting the hardware offload to a
maximum of 7 bridges. The multicast database uses a {MAC, VID} key, with

Realtek RTL8365MB switches (a.k.a. RTL8367C family) use two different
structures for VLANs:
- VLAN4K: A full table with 4096 entries defining port membership and
tagging.
- VLANMC: A smaller table with 32 entries used primarily for PVID
assignment.
In this hardware, a port's PVID must point to an index in the VLANMC
table rather than a VID directly. Since the VLANMC table is limited to
32 entries, the driver implements a dynamic allocation scheme to
maximize resource usage:
- VLAN4K is treated by the driver as the source of truth for membership.
- A VLANMC entry is only allocated when a port is configured to use a
specific VID as its PVID.
- VLANMC entries are deleted when no longer needed as a PVID by any port.
Although VLANMC has a members field, the switch only checks membership
in the VLAN4K table. This driver will use VLANMC members field as way to
track which ports are using that entry as PVID.
VLANMC index 0, although a valid entry, is reserved in this driver as a
neutral PVID value for ports not using a specific PVID.
In the subsequent RTL8367D switch family, VLANMC table was
removed and PVID assignment was delegated to a dedicated set of
registers.

CPU port phases.
As part of this refactoring, unused ports are explicitly placed into a
blocked, isolated state with learning disabled, ensuring safe default
hardware behavior. The driver also does not allocate a virtual IRQ
mapping for unused ports. To accommodate this, a guard check is added to
the interrupt handler (rtl8365mb_irq) to safely skip ports without a
valid IRQ mapping. The irq domain teardown, however, does clean all
ports as external PHYs may still map the IRQ.
Furthermore, since the new initialization loop starts with all ports
administratively isolated by default, CPU port forwarding and isolation
masks are explicitly configured at the end of the setup phase to prevent
egress traffic from being blocked.

Explicitly enforce the presence of a CPU port (-EINVAL) and reject DSA
cascade links (-EOPNOTSUPP) during setup to prevent silent failures.
These topologies were already non-functional. Without a CPU port, the
driver does not activate CPU tagging. Additionally, the switch hardware
was not designed to be cascaded, and DSA links never worked because
CPU tagging is not enabled for them.

irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now.
Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the
node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of
struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the
original parameter.
Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of
indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not
guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to
case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW).

When the kernel is compiled without LED framework support the
rtl8366rb fails to build like this:
rtl8366rb.o: in function `rtl8366rb_setup_led':
rtl8366rb.c:953:(.text.unlikely.rtl8366rb_setup_led+0xe8):
undefined reference to `led_init_default_state_get'
rtl8366rb.c:980:(.text.unlikely.rtl8366rb_setup_led+0x240):
undefined reference to `devm_led_classdev_register_ext'
As this is constantly coming up in different randconfig builds,
bite the bullet and create a separate file for the offending
code, split out a header with all stuff needed both in the
core driver and the leds code.
Add a new bool Kconfig option for the LED compile target, such
that it depends on LEDS_CLASS=y || LEDS_CLASS=RTL8366RB
which make LED support always available when LEDS_CLASS is
compiled into the kernel and enforce that if the LEDS_CLASS
is a module, then the RTL8366RB driver needs to be a module
as well so that modprobe can resolve the dependencies.

1. Simple function call with one argument is easier to read. Ternary

long code.

This commit introduces LED drivers for rtl8366rb, enabling LEDs to be
described in the device tree using the same format as qca8k. Each port
can configure up to 4 LEDs.
If all LEDs in a group use the default state "keep", they will use the
default behavior after a reset. Changing the brightness of one LED,
either manually or by a trigger, will disable the default hardware
trigger and switch the entire LED group to manually controlled LEDs.
Once in this mode, there is no way to revert to hardware-controlled LEDs
(except by resetting the switch).
Software triggers function as expected with manually controlled LEDs.

The necessity of asserting the reset on removal was previously
questioned, as DSA's own cleanup methods should suffice to prevent
traffic leakage[1].
When a driver has subdrivers controlled by devres, they will be
unregistered after the main driver's .remove is executed. If it asserts
a reset, the subdrivers will be unable to communicate with the hardware
during their cleanup. For LEDs, this means that they will fail to turn
off, resulting in a timeout error.

This switch family supports four LEDs for each of its six ports. Each
LED group is composed of one of these four LEDs from all six ports. LED
groups can be configured to display hardware information, such as link
activity, or manually controlled through a bitmap in registers
RTL8366RB_LED_0_1_CTRL_REG and RTL8366RB_LED_2_3_CTRL_REG.
After a reset, the default LED group configuration for groups 0 to 3
indicates, respectively, link activity, link at 1000M, 100M, and 10M, or
RTL8366RB_LED_CTRL_REG as 0x5432. These configurations are commonly used
for LED indications. However, the driver was replacing that
configuration to use manually controlled LEDs (RTL8366RB_LED_FORCE)
without providing a way for the OS to control them. The default
configuration is deemed more useful than fixed, uncontrollable turned-on
LEDs.
The driver was enabling/disabling LEDs during port_enable/disable.
However, these events occur when the port is administratively controlled
(up or down) and are not related to link presence. Additionally, when a
port N was disabled, the driver was turning off all LEDs for group N,
not only the corresponding LED for port N in any of those 4 groups. In
such cases, if port 0 was brought down, the LEDs for all ports in LED
group 0 would be turned off. As another side effect, the driver was
wrongly warning that port 5 didn't have an LED ("no LED for port 5").
Since showing the administrative state of ports is not an orthodox way
to use LEDs, it was not worth it to fix it and all this code was
dropped.
The code to disable LEDs was simplified only changing each LED group to
the RTL8366RB_LED_OFF state. Registers RTL8366RB_LED_0_1_CTRL_REG and
RTL8366RB_LED_2_3_CTRL_REG are only used when the corresponding LED
group is configured with RTL8366RB_LED_FORCE and they don't need to be
cleaned. The code still references an LED controlled by
RTL8366RB_INTERRUPT_CONTROL_REG, but as of now, no test device has
actually used it. Also, some magic numbers were replaced by macros.
