Add AD4883 compatible string to the AD4080 devicetree binding.
The AD4883 is a dual-channel, 16-bit, 40 MSPS SAR ADC, sharing the same
register map and interface as the AD4080 family. Like the AD4880, it
requires two SPI chip selects and two io-backends for its independent
ADC channels. The AD4883 differs from the AD4880 in resolution (16-bit
vs 20-bit), which requires distinct channel configuration in the driver,
precluding a fallback compatible.

The QREF block supplies reference clocks to PCIe PHYs and requires
dedicated LDO supplies to operate. The digital control interface for QREF
(clkref_en registers) resides in TCSR on glymur. Since QREF has no
dedicated DT node of its own, these supply properties are placed in the
TCSR node which acts as the control interface for QREF.
Add a dedicated binding file for qcom,glymur-tcsr and document the supply
properties. As this binding will grow to cover more SoCs, mark the
required supplies per compatible using an allOf/if/then conditional.

The K3 I2S controllers normally use the published 7-clock layout:
sysclk, bclk, bus, func, sysclk_div, c_sysclk, c_bclk
However, K3 i2s1 has no dedicated sysclk divider and therefore uses a
6-clock layout:

Introduce the "dpm_watchdog_enabled" module parameter to allow the DPM
watchdog to be enabled or disabled at boot time and runtime.
Additionally, introduce the CONFIG_DPM_WATCHDOG_ENABLED Kconfig option
to set the default value of the module parameter at compile time.
The primary motivation for this configurability resolves around Android
GKI (Generic Kernel Image). We want to enable CONFIG_DPM_WATCHDOG in
the GKI so the feature is available. However, because the GKI is shared
across many different devices, we don't want to inadvertently affect
devices that are unaware of this feature. This provides a way to
compile it in, but keep it disabled by default for those devices via the
kernel command line or module parameters.
To maintain backward compatibility, CONFIG_DPM_WATCHDOG_ENABLED relies
on `default y`. Previously, the DPM watchdog was always active if
CONFIG_DPM_WATCHDOG was set. Defaulting this new option to 'y' ensures
that the behavior remains unchanged for existing users and defconfigs
when they upgrade.

The user cannot use MTE on VMAs created by mapping a guest_memfd file,
as arch_calc_vm_flag_bits() does not set VM_MTE_ALLOWED.
When creating a guest_memfd backed memslot,
kvm_arch_prepare_memory_region() rejects the memslot if MTE is enabled for
the VM and if guest_memfd has been mapped in a VMA that intersects the
memslot.
However, the documentation for KVM_SET_USER_MEMORY_REGION2 explicitly
states that the only condition for userspace_addr is for it to be a legal
userspace address, but the mapping is not required to be valid nor
populated at memslot creation.
If userspace sets userspace_addr to an address that hasn't been mapped, or
if userspace_addr belongs to a VMA that isn't backed by the guest_memfd
file, or if the VMA doesn't intersect the memslot, memslot creation is
successful and KVM ends up with a VM with MTE and guest_memfd-backed
memslots.
The same happens if the order is reversed: when userspace enables MTE, KVM
does not check if memslots backed by guest_memfd are already present.
Fix both issues by rejecting guest_memfd-backed memslots when MTE is
enabled, and by rejecting MTE when guest_memfd-backed memslots are already
present.

The EcoNet EN7528 MIPS SoC integrates an MT7530 Gigabit switch,
memory-mapped in the SoC register space like the built-in switches of
the MediaTek MT7988 and Airoha EN7581/AN7583 SoCs. Its four user ports
are connected to integrated Gigabit PHYs and its CPU port is connected
internally to the SoC Ethernet MAC.
Those three switches are MT7531-based, whereas the EN7528 has a genuine
MT7530 switch core (its chip revision register reads 0x7530). The two
generations differ in their register programming - for example the CPU
port is selected through the MT7530-style MFC register rather than the
MT7531 CFC register - so the EN7528 is not compatible with the existing
switch compatibles and cannot fall back to one of them.
Add the econet,en7528-switch compatible, with the same constraints as
the other built-in switches.

On systems with NVIDIA Olympus cores, a Device-nGnR* load can be
observed by a peripheral before an older, non-overlapping Device-nGnR*
store to the same peripheral. This breaks the program-order guarantee
that software expects for Device-nGnR* accesses and can leave a
peripheral in an incorrect state.
The erratum can occur only when all of the following apply:
- A PE executes a Device-nGnR* store followed by a younger
Device-nGnR* load.
- The store is not a store-release.
- The accesses target the same peripheral and do not overlap in bytes.
- There is at most one intervening Device-nGnR* store in program
order, and there are no intervening Device-nGnR* loads.
- There is no DSB or full DMB between the store and the load.
- Specific microarchitectural and timing conditions occur.
Insert a DMB OSH immediately before each raw MMIO load on affected CPUs.
As a full barrier, DMB OSH orders the older Device store before the
younger Device load and prevents the erroneous observation.
Add the barrier directly to the __raw_read*() helpers, independently of
the existing device-load-acquire alternative. On affected CPUs this adds
one DMB OSH per raw MMIO load, including each load used by
memcpy_fromio(). On unaffected CPUs the alternative remains a NOP.

Add support for AES-CCM to the crypto library.
This will be used to provide a streamlined implementation of the
"ccm(aes)" crypto_aead algorithm. Most users of "ccm(aes)" will also be
able to switch to the library, which as usual will be faster and
simpler, e.g.:
- fs/smb/client/
- fs/smb/server/
- net/mac80211/
- net/mac802154/
(I've already written proof-of-concept patches for all the above, and
they helped inform the API design.)
As in the AES-GCM API, incremental operation is supported. It has to be
used carefully, especially when decrypting, but it makes the API general
enough to work well for all users.
The AES-CCM library code calls aes_cbcmac_blocks() directly, bypassing
the higher-level aes_cbcmac_init(), aes_cbcmac_update(), and
aes_cbcmac_final(). The latter set of functions is useful only for
AES-CCM, so they don't make sense to keep around and will be removed
once the "ccm(aes)" crypto_aead starts using the AES-CCM library.
Initial test coverage is provided by the crypto_aead support added in a
later commit. I'm planning a KUnit test suite as well.

Add support for AES-GCM to the crypto library.
This will be used to provide streamlined implementations of the
"gcm(aes)" and "rfc4106(gcm(aes))" crypto_aead algorithms. Most users
of these will also be able to switch to the library, which as usual will
be faster and simpler, e.g.:
- drivers/net/macsec.c
- fs/smb/client/
- fs/smb/server/
- net/ceph/messenger_v2.c
- net/mac80211/ (for both GMAC and GCMP)
- net/tipc/crypto.c
- security/keys/trusted-keys/trusted_dcp.c
(I've already written proof-of-concept patches for all the above, and
they helped inform the API design.)
As usual, the architecture-optimized AES-GCM code will be migrated into
the library as well (using the hooks provided in this commit as well as
the GHASH ones), eliminating lots of repetitive boilerplate code.
Incremental en/decryption is supported. Incremental operation is a bit
controversial in AEAD APIs because users have to be careful not to
consume any decrypted data that hasn't been authenticated yet. But I do
think it's the right choice here. It's not fundamentally different from
the existing incremental MAC APIs, and it's the only approach that's
general enough to work well for all users in the kernel:
- An array of virtually-addressed buffers (like that used by
BoringSSL's EVP_AEAD_CTX_sealv() and EVP_AEAD_CTX_openv()) doesn't
work in the kernel in general, since in some cases the data for a
single AES-GCM message is contained in a large number of highmem
pages that each need to be mapped into memory individually. That
can be done efficiently only by using CPU-local mappings, but there
is a limited number of those.
Ceph messenger v2 is a great example, as it can send or receive up
to 32 MiB in a single AES-GCM message. And it needs the
en/decrypted data to go into a (potentially large) number of bvecs
provided by a custom iterator, as well as into four
virtually-addressed buffers, two of which can be large buffers in
the vmalloc region.
Even just allocating an array big enough to store all the pointers
can be problematic in the kernel. There are cases in which
decryption runs in GFP_NOIO context or even in softirq context,
where memory allocations are not as reliable as they normally are.
- Meanwhile, 'struct scatterlist' (the choice of crypto_aead) has
turned out to be really inconvenient for anyone who *does* just have
virtually-addressed buffers. This is especially true if they can be
in the vmalloc region, including the stack, as in that case the
conversion to a scatterlist has to be done page-by-page.
And even for users who have all of their data in bare 'struct page',
none of them actually use 'struct scatterlist' as their native data
structure anyway. They actually use skbs, bvecs, or other formats.
- iov_iter is attractive, but ultimately not general enough either
(considering the Ceph case for example), but also too general in
some ways (like having support for userspace addresses). Additional
iter types like ITER_SKB would help a bit, but bloating iov_iter
with more types would reduce performance elsewhere in the kernel.
Initial test coverage is provided by the crypto_aead support added in a
later commit. I'm planning a KUnit test suite as well.

current-limit controls
Add three optional properties to the MAX8903 charger binding to
describe board-level GPIO control of the DC and USB input current
limits:
DC input (TA / DOK pin):
- dc-current-limit-gpios (1..4 GPIOs): mux control lines feeding
the MAX8903 IDC resistor mux;
- dc-current-limit-mapping (uint32-matrix of {microamps,
gpio_bit_pattern} pairs): the available current levels and the
GPIO bit pattern that selects each level.
USB input (USB / UOK pin):
- usb-current-limit-gpios: a single GPIO driving the IUSB pin.
The IUSB pin is silicon-fixed by the MAX8903 datasheet (Pin
Description): low selects 100 mA, high selects 500 mA. Only
the GPIO mapping is board-specific; the current values are
not exposed in DT.
A dependentRequired block ties dc-current-limit-gpios and
dc-current-limit-mapping together so an incomplete DT cannot pass
validation with only one half of the pair.
These let userspace clamp the input draw via the standard
POWER_SUPPLY_PROP_INPUT_CURRENT_LIMIT power_supply attribute. The HP
TouchPad uses both: two TLMM lines select between 0.5 A, 1.0 A,
1.5 A and 2.0 A DC input current limits behind the MAX8903B
charger, and a third TLMM line picks the IUSB 100 mA / 500 mA
limit.
These are purely additive; existing platforms remain unaffected.

Marco Giunta <marco_giunta@outlook.it> says:
Several Lenovo Legion laptops (Pro 7i 16IAX10H, Y9000P IAX10,
Pro 7 16AFR10H, R9000P ADR10) use AWINIC AW88399 smart amplifiers
to drive their bass woofers, connected via I2C as side codecs
to a Realtek ALC287 HDA codec.
Without a driver for these amplifiers, only the tweeters produce
sound, resulting in quiet and tinny audio.
An ASoC driver for the AW88399 already exists in-tree
(sound/soc/codecs/aw88399.c), contributed by AWINIC, but it targets
ASoC topologies and cannot drive the chip when it sits behind an
HDA controller. This series adds a proper HDA side codec driver,
following the established pattern used by the CS35L41, CS35L56,
and TAS2781 drivers.
Patch 1 extracts the device-level functions from the existing ASoC
driver into a shared library module (SND_SOC_AW88399_LIB) with a
shared header at include/sound/aw88399.h, following the CS35L41
precedent (SND_SOC_CS35L41_LIB / include/sound/cs35l41.h). This
avoids a build-time dependency on the full ASoC codec module and
ensures clean separation between the ASoC and HDA drivers.
Patches 2 through 5 prepare the shared library for use on ACPI-based
HDA systems: patch 2 extends channel assignment to work without
Device Tree properties, patch 3 adds a per-instance flag to bypass
an unreliable hardware status bit on certain boards, patch 4 adds
a firmware reload flag so that the HDA driver can signal that DSP
firmware needs to be re-uploaded after system sleep, and patch 5
adds a channel setter so that the HDA driver can configure the
amplifier without depending on ASoC-internal device headers.
NOTE ON FIRMWARE: This driver requires the firmware file
aw88399_acf.bin, which uses the same format and request path as the
existing ASoC driver. This firmware is not yet available in the
linux-firmware repository. We intend to coordinate with the AWINIC
maintainers (CC'd) to arrange its inclusion. In the meantime, users
can extract the firmware from the Windows driver and place it in
/lib/firmware/.
This work builds on the initial driver development by Yakov Till
("Lyapsus") and the bounty effort organized by Nadim Kobeissi:
